| Position Summary Lionbridge Korea has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a successful team testing speech application products. The hire will be part of a dedicated Language Test Team located in Seoul, Korea. Duties/ Roles and Responsibilities Test from the front end using mobile devices Work closely with the Language Coordinators on testing priorities Execute test cases or test s and submit and verify defects for production deployments Develop test plans from functional requirements Required qualifications: Must be native speaker of one of the languages mentioned above Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal Must be comfortable using Windows, Word, and Excel Must be intuitive and demonstrate good problem solving skills Must adapt well to fast-past, dynamic work requirements Must be comfortable in a collaborative environment Preferred qualifications: QA experience, especially in software development cycle and methodology Experience with test case/ development and execution Translation industry or foreign language teaching experience Familiarity with Android smart phones Familiarity with speech recognition technology Testing the front end for Web or Client Server applications Any other computer skills beyond typical end user Special Qualification Must have a work visa readily available to legally work in Korea: but visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidate with relevant Korea Immigration requirements | |
