(Shared) Seoul Opens “Urban Water Park” with Hangang Outdoor 

Swimming Pools and Water Playgrounds on Jun. 20

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) has announced the operation of swimming pools in Ttukseom, Yeouido, and Jamwon Hangang Parks, as well as water playgrounds in Jamsil, Yanghwa, and Nanji Hangang Parks from Thu, Jun. 20 to Sun, Aug. 18 for 60 days so that citizens can enjoy water activities close to the Hangang River during summer. Admission fees for the swimming pools are KRW 4,000 for youth, and KRW 5,000 for adults. For the water playgrounds, the fees are KRW 2,000, and KRW 3,000, respectively. 

The swimming pools and water playgrounds will be open every day from 9 AM to 6 PM for the entire 60-day period, with the newly opened Jamsil Water Playground operating until 8 PM. However, operations will be suspended in the event of adverse weather conditions, such as typhoons, heavy rain, fine dust alerts, or emergency ultrafine dust reduction measures being issued.
