“5 Cheers!”: media art series featuring messages of hope from top artists from Korea and abroad

A wide range of spectacles and activities, including a design market, experience events, photo zones, and food trucks

“Seoul Light DDP,” a global media art festival that welcomed 620,000 visitors last winter, returns this year in an upgraded format. Using the exterior walls of the building as a giant canvas, the festival will showcase works by international graphic artists every night.

With fresh spectacles and activities that appeal to younger generations, DDP is quickly becoming a new favorite spot for New Year’s celebrations. This year, DDP will host the New Year’s Countdown at Oullim Square on the night of Dec. 31 with a variety of programs.

“Seoul Light DDP 2024 Winter” features media facades in omnibus format created by five artists that root for citizens’ “everyday life, dreams, transformation, smile, and relationships” under the theme “5 Cheers!” The media facade show will be accompanied by diverse side events. (Free admission)
