Job Description

Maison Notre-Terre, a roastery café located in Seogwipo, Jeju, is recruiting a barista to support its café and showroom operations. The position involves preparing coffee and other beverages, assisting with simple brunch preparation, serving customers, and supporting the overall daily operation of the café. Candidates should have a positive customer-service mindset, work diligently and responsibly, and be able to communicate and cooperate effectively with other team members.

Main Duties

Prepare coffee and other beverages

Assist with simple brunch preparation

Provide customer service

Operate the POS system

Serve food and beverages

Clean and maintain the café and showroom

Wash dishes and kitchenware

Manage inventory

Packaged products

Assist with café and showroom operations

Support marketing-related activities

Perform other duties related to the daily operation of the café and showroom

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to:

Applicants with practical experience working in a café

Applicants with knowledge or understanding of specialty coffee

Applicants with a strong customer-service mindset

Applicants who are diligent, responsible, and trustworthy

Applicants who can cooperate and communicate effectively with team members 

Eligibility Requirements

Korean language ability sufficient for everyday conversation

Applicants should be able to perform general café and customer-service duties

Eligible visa types: H-1, H-2, F-2, F-5, F-6

Applicants should confirm whether their individual visa status allows this type of employment in Korea before applying

No specific educational background is required
