Announcement of New Residence Card (ARC) Issuance

The design of Residence Card (including Permanent Resident Card and Overseas Korean Resident Card) which are issued to long-term foreign residents in Korea has recently changed and a new type of residence card started to be issued from April 1, 2023 onwards. The Card has the same validity as resident registration card in relation to various procedures and business relations as stipulated in laws and regulations

If you already have a ARC card, it does not need replacing to a new one. See further information below.
