Requirements:


To join the GEV Working Holiday Program, you must:

  • be born between 1984 - 1996 (inclusive)
  • provide proof of being either enrolled in or graduated from a degree or diploma program at a recognised institution.
  • be at least an Intermediate English language communicator.
What is an intermediate English language speaker?

For the purpose of the GEV Working Holiday program, all participants should be capable of at least Level 2 / B1 communication in English, according to the Can-Do statements supported by the Association of Language Testers of Europe (ALTE). For example:

B1 / Level 2 CAN express opinions on abstract/cultural matters in a limited way or offer advice within a known area, and understand instructions or public announcements. CAN understand routine information and articiles, and the general meaning of non-routine informaiton within a familiar area. CAN write letters or make notes on familiar or predictable matters.
