Job Description

Recruiting international participants to join the World “Dance” Parade as part of the 2026 K-Wave Dance Festival in Itaewon.

Participants will march through the streets wearing their national traditional costumes and carrying their national flags, while interacting with spectators and representing their country or culture.

No previous work experience is required.

Main Duties

Participate in the World “Dance” Parade in Itaewon

Wear your country's traditional or national costume during the parade

Carry or display your national flag

March together with your team along the designated parade route

Participate in short dance or musical performances at designated performance points

Interact with spectators during the parade

Participants who are unable to dance or perform may greet and wave to the audience instead

Work Schedule

Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026

Assembly Time: 16:30

Parade Departure: 17:30

End Time: 18:30

Total Participation Time: Approximately 2 hours (16:30–18:30)

Location: Itaewon-ro, Seoul

Route: In front of Hamilton Hotel → Main Stage

Distance: Approximately 400 meters

Participants should arrive at 16:30 for on-site preparation, waiting, and an explanation of the parade route.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to:

Applicants applying together with friends from the same country or cultural background (2 or more participants)

Dance teams, clubs, or other organized groups

Applicants who can dance during the parade

Applicants who can play musical instruments, including traditional instruments

Teams able to perform traditional dances or cultural performances from their country

International student communities or national student associations

Eligibility Requirements

No previous work experience required

Applicants should be able to participate in the full event schedule on October 3, 2026

Participants should preferably have access to their country's traditional costume and/or national flag

Applicants must hold a valid visa/status permitting participation in paid activities in Korea

Applicants should confirm whether their individual visa type allows this type of paid activity before applying

Employment Conditions

Employment Type: Temporary / One-day event participation

Compensation: KRW 150,000 for approximately 2 hours
