Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $13.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Ottawa Centre, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
- Education: Completion of high school
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Languages: Speak English, Read English
- Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Basic computer skills (will train)
- Work Setting: Hotel
- Specific Skills: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, Process group arrivals
and departures, Take, cancel and change room reservations, Process telephone
calls, Provide information on hotel facilities and services, Provide general information
about points of interest in the area, Provide information about services available in the
community, Arrange services required for guests with special needs, Process wake-
up calls, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related
forms, Customer service oriented, Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
- Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Continuous
learning
